Maria Borovnik and Johanna Thomas-Maude have started the data collection for this research by visiting ports and seafarer supporting organisations in Aotearoa New Zealand. We have had some insightful conversations so far, and are looking forward to more. These meetings are fundamental in understanding the situation from the perspective of supporting organisations during COVID-19 and now.

We will continue meeting with organisations in both New Zealand and internationally over the coming months.
